Ireland was fantastic. I am still alive and telling the tale after a horrific ridge walk where as Hubberton Hikers we had to take the most difficult route. I am so glad the hail waited until we were of the cliff face!!!!!!!! And Junette is the most popular girl in the village following her enthusiastic Irish dancing!!

YIPEE there are other hikers in Eire we spotted 2 x Poles and an Iranian who had a rucksack full of what Martin termed as "explosives" (probably to enable him to get off that bl..dy mountain - it was worse than Sharp edge!). After conquering the McGuilly Cuddy Reeks yesterday we have decided to have a day's sailing today, across to Skellig island. The "A" Team are off to Kenmare on another expedition. The hostel is fantastic and the sea air very tiring, some people will sleep for a week when they return home!

Fantabulous weather today. Walked up to Cooncallen and enjoyed the views over Waterville bay at lunchtime. Paddled in the bay 3 hours later. MAGIC
